Alternating Currents' next project is a collaboration with the  Crowden Music Center, Contemporaneous,  Alternating Currents, New Music Bay Area, and the Ross McKee Foundation. 

"HEAR | TOGETHER,"  will take place at the Crowden Music Center. It's is a celebration of live music and the diverse range of pianists  in the Bay Area.  The event will be an outdoor showcase to include a performance of "Achilles Dreams of Ebbets Field"  an inventive two-hour solo piano work by Bay Area composer Dylan Mattingly. The event will offer audiences a safe opportunity to hear music in person and outdoors.  

The  Crowden Music Center is located at the south east corner of  Sacramento and Rose in Berkeley from 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday, May 9l

Like all Alternating Currents shows, HEAR | TOGETHER is free and open to the public and observant of Covid-19 protocols. In light of the need for social distancing, reservations via Eventbrite will be required and limited to ensure the safety of performers and audience members. To ensure the safety of performers and audience members, all attendees are required to wear masks for the duration of each performance. All tickets must be reserved in advance; no walk-ins will be allowed in compliance with state and county COVID safety guidelines. Proof of vaccination or negative results of a COVID-19 test within three days will also be required and must be provided at the gate.
